The position
At Product Supply (PS) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), we are embarking on a journey to expand our production facilities in Hillerød, foreseeing the demands of our growing product pipeline. As a result, we are seeking a visionary Project Manager!
In this pivotal role, you will lead project management and provide technical oversight of our cutting-edge weighing and dispensing area, a project of strategic significance for the future of Novo Nordisk's business. This sophisticated area will be highly automated, boasting an automatic weighing and dispensing system, alongside the seamless integration of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) to facilitate the transportation of raw materials, interfacing directly with our MES and SAP system.
Your responsibilities will include:
Technical Project Management: Oversee and drive the technical aspects of the project ensuring seamless progress and alignment. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with our Engineering partner to ensure vendors are on track and aligned with project objectives. Technical Clarifications and Alignment: Provide clarity and ensure technical alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Communication with Internal Teams: Maintain alignment and collaboration with our internal MES and SAP teams. User Requirement Definition and Approval: Define and approve user requirements critical to project success. Equipment Testing and Verification: Lead the testing and verification of the equipment to guarantee operational excellence.
This project presents a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile greenfield initiative, offering you the chance to contribute significantly to shaping a new, large-scale production facility and team. Throughout this role, you will have the opportunity to travel within Europe for approximately 40 days per year, engaging directly with our expanding product pipeline.
Qualifications
Your experiences include:
A relevant academic degree (candidates with relevant technical background and extensive experience are also welcome). 3+ years project management experience, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery. Familiarity with GMP, validation procedures, and instructions, showcasing a strong understanding of industry compliance requirements. Knowledge of Weighing and Dispensing equipment, processes, and systems, with a preference for experience in powder solutions is desirable. Full professional proficiency in English.

Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Denmark Area that is located in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 600 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP). We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
