The Position As the Senior Production (Process) Engineer, you will support the development and integration of new equipment to handle plastic and metal device component manufacturing by taking ownership of the manufacturing process and overseeing it. You will be responsible to ensure that necessary documentation and process specifications are in place to support a robust process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, engineers, project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the process is optimized and meets all necessary requirements. The main tasks will be to:
• Take ownership of finished product manufacturing processes and lead process transfers to ensure seamless integration of developed equipment, and technologies from pilot to scaling organizations, ensuring consistency and robustness in operations.
• Document design solutions and ensure traceability to requirements, while also creating, reviewing, and approving User Requirement Specifications (URS), Process specifications, Engineering and design specifications.
• Participate in testing and validation processes such as factory acceptance testing (FAT, SAT) together with the equipment manufacturer before the equipment is transferred from the supplier to be validated at one of our molding sites.
• Review supplier documentation, protocols, reports and purchase automation equipment and support in training and installation. For this position is expected to travel 20-50 days per year, depending on the project phase. The start date for this role is January 2025. Qualifications The qualifications we value include:
• Holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, automation, robotics, mechanics, or similar.
• Having experience working with mechanical automation equipment development, interfaces or other industrial equipment.
• Having experience with planning, validating, and executing development projects of high-volume equipment.
• Being experienced within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and medical validation.
• Having professional proficiency in written and spoken English, while being proficient in Danish is considered a plus. On a personal level, having a talent for fostering strong, collaborative relationships with various teams and stakeholders is key in this role. Being proactive and having focus on quality drives success in leading initiatives and ensuring their smooth execution.
