Are you ready to join us as an Engineering Responsible within our Black Utility (BU) area at API Expansions—one of Novo Nordisk’s most significant expansion projects? Do you have the right skillset to be part of our new API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) production facility, which will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products in Hillerød? The Position As an Engineering Responsible within our Black Utility (BU) area, your main responsibilities initially will be to gain deep knowledge about the different systems/facilities in scope, such as steam and condensate, chillers, heat pumps, compressed air, and distribution in general. Besides that, you will be involved in setting the BMS (Building Management System) specifications. You will support the Work Package Owner (WPO) during the implementation, testing, and commissioning of the different systems/facilities in scope. When fully implemented, you will be responsible for the daily operation of these systems, ensuring state-of-the-art systems and facilities that support uninterrupted production. Your responsibilities as part of a team will include the following: · Plan and manage system commissioning and SAT within the BU area. · Plan and manage maintenance strategy and plans. · Manage procedures and training material. · Oversee contractor installation and progress. · Maintain contact and coordination with the construction management team. This project will give you the scope to be involved in a new, high-profile greenfield project where you will have the opportunity to help shape a new large production facility and team. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you need to have: · A relevant academic degree (candidates with a relevant technical background and extensive experience are welcome too). · Technical and operational knowledge of similar systems as described above. · Technical knowledge of procedures, instructions, and working knowledge of FDA and EU regulations is preferred. · +3 years of experience in a similar job or project with responsibilities within the area of black utilities and BMS. · Full professional proficiency in English. The area is anchored in Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employs approximately 30,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 64,000 employees. PS API Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all major API expansion projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients.
