Then you might be our new Lead Time Optimisation Responsible for our production site in Hjørring.
The position
The Lead Time Optimisation Responsible will be responsible for planning, analysing and optimising lead times through our Quality Control (QC) team. This role will require a detailed understanding of QC, logistics, production, and planning to identify opportunities for improvement and drive value for the organisation. Your key responsibilities are: Work closely with the production planning team and operators in QC to ensure timely quality control and availability of finished goods. Analyse current lead times throughout QC and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimise lead times, including reduce test times, improve performances, and streamline QC processes. Monitor QC performances and lead times and develop action plans to address issues that impact lead times. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress. Lead cross-functional projects to improve QC performance and drive value for the organisation. Qualifications Engineering degree within production, Operations Management, Supply Chain Operation, Pharmacy, or related field 3+ years of experience in production, quality control, supply chain management, logistics or operations Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment Proficient in MS Excel and IT-systems Lean knowledge is preferred Understanding of planning processes is preferred Proficient in English as corporate language.
The Lead Time Optimisation Responsible is a full-time position, working primarily in an office environment but may require some time on the production floor.
The department You will be part of the QC Support team and have 9 dedicated colleagues. Our main responsibility is to support the daily operation and ensure the products are tested on time. Furthermore, we ensure equipment is up to date and that there are no blockages in our processes. The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance and manufacturing development. We are organised in seven departments and with app. 450 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
