Randstad is looking for a Technology & Optimization Manager for Mariager Salt Specialties A/S. As Technology & Optimization Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy and the day-to-day operations of the Technical organization. You will be part of the Management Team and you will refer to the Nordic Supply Chain Manager. Your primary responsibility will be improving the performance of the entire Nordic value chain by integration of technology, assets and continuous improvement management.
- Develop and manage an adequate staffing within the Technical organization
- Ensure continuous technological development, e.g. digitalization and production processes fitting to business needs
- Coordinate, monitor and drive project activities, manage project risks, issue changes and resources and take corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure the continuous improvement excellence agenda including operations, maintenance and OPEX optimization activities
- Ensure all technical documentation, e.g. technical PIDs, reporting, etc.
- Ensure firsthand maintenance success
- Ensure uptime performance with timely planning and gatekeeping
- Be an active member of the Management Team including alignment between departments and contributing to the company policy and to the formulation of the Nordic Gameplans (strategy and tactical planning) from a technology and improvement point of view

With our special focus on environment and safety, it is a prerequisite that you have a strong interest and experience with this.
You have a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent. You have practical experience from industry (mainly process industry) and with strategic development, and you have led several optimization projects.
As a person, you are structured and methodic, but you are also the robust problem solver. You have a natural impact that enables you to create results through your own and others’ efforts, but you are also the diplomat who can balance different interests and stakeholders internally and externally. You communicate naturally at all levels of the organization and you practice visibility and perseverance just as you follow up on initiated initiatives. Finally, you are able to create operational results without losing focus on the strategic direction.
You are an experienced IT user / SAP preference. You are fluent in English and we hope that you either speak French or are willing to learn. You have knowledge of / education in GMP.
Package in line with market standards, depending on skills and experience and a challenging and independent job in an organization with an informal tone.
