Every day, Evida works purposefully to realize the transition so that we in Denmark can reach our CO2 goals. Right now, we are looking for the key player to build up our program on CO2. As an Instrument and Control Specialist, you will be part of our CO2 program. In the program, you will be responsible for the design, development, installation, management and maintenance of equipment and systems that monitor and control our engineering processes, machinery, and operations.

We are currently developing and designing the system to enhance the green transition, which give you the opportunity to develop the CO2 infrastructure with us.

Join our CO2-team consisting of twenty specialists, business developers, technicians etc. You will be referring to Technical Lead Claus Myllerup, and every day you will draw on different specialist skills from your +480 competent colleagues at Evida.

Your area of responsibility will cover:

  • Ensure that systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, and safely, and they work with various types of control systems, such as distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and advanced process control (APC). Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reliability with automation technology.
  • Create a connection between information inputs, controllers, and outputs, such as sensors, actuators, valves, compressors, and motors. Develop tests and simulations to verify the functionality and performance of the systems. Provide advice and consultancy support to other engineers and technicians.
  • Manage relationship with engineering and specialist subcontractors.
  • Support new business proposals and bids for projects. Determine project requirements and performing troubleshooting as required.
  • Risk Management: Throughout design and execution, identify and report risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
  • Establish monitoring and quality assurance processes to detect and correct any faults in the systems. Consult with suppliers to ensure completed projects to meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations or industry best practices.
  • Write progress reports, documentation and keep up to date with industry trends and developments.

Your qualifications
You have an engineering degree, preferably in in electrical, electronic, mechanical, chemical or computer engineering. You have proven experience (5 - 10 years) with preparing and using instrumentation drawings, trip panel drawings, logic diagrams and tables, PLC and DCS configuration. You possess excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills and you prioritizes building up professional relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.

You are fluent in Danish and English.

As a person, you have exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. You can work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and you adapt flexibly in a challenging environment. You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
