The position
As our Senior LEAN partner, you will be part of business support in Product Supply (PS) – Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) - where you will be a key driver in co-creating a culture where LEAN is the standard way of operating through developing principles and systems for teaching, guiding, and coaching our leaders and employees.
You will take part in, as well as ensure, continuous process improvement and best practice sharing across the whole site. You are expected to provide expertise, monitor and review cross-organisational problems within PS API and help the organisation to create solutions that improve business results.
Current major tasks will include:
• Development and implementation of a global leadership training and onboarding programme
• Further development and execution of our global Lean assessment set-up
• Integrating Lean more deeply into our major project execution program
• Formulating, communicating, and implementing corporate strategies supporting our business targets
Moreover, you will facilitate collaboration with other LEAN partners across the organisation in an ever-changing environment – balancing your efforts between operations and projects. You will occasionally support the organization with ad-hoc systematic problem solving or workshop facilitation – enabling error-free processes, increasing capacity, or reducing the unit cost.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we imagine that you have:
• Demonstrated experience of LEAN implementation within manufacturing
• Proven expertise in planning/organizing, managing execution, checking results, & revising complex, cross-functional projects either in pharmaceutical or other related industry
• Skills within project management, change management- methodologies to achieve significant, measurable improvement in business- support- & production processes are vital
• You are fluent in English both spoken and written; willingness to learn Danish is required

About the department
You will be part of API – Business Support – a diverse unit comprising of +100 employees with headquarters in Kalundborg. The position is in department ‘LEAN & New Tech’, where we provide various types of support to the CVP areas and the management team.
Overall, we have the responsibility for maturing LEAN in the organisation by developing guiding principles, robust systems, and standardised tools? Deploying LEAN related initiatives and supporting on ad hoc cases in Line of Business. We also drive the digital transformation in API, by identifying and implementing relevant use cases and evaluating new technology for implementation.
