The position
As project manager you will be responsible for driving strategic projects for API QA Strategy Office as well as implementing corporate projects in API and API QA. This could for example be accelerating and influence the API QA journey towards a Paperless future. Most projects are implemented across our production facilities in DK Kalundborg.
As project manager you will be expected to:
• Set direction, drive projects, and deliver results.
• Ensure projects are executed timely with the perspective of the highest quality to patients.
• See the unreleased potential in new ideas and embrace change.
• Take ownership of your own time and deliverables.
• Never lose focus, despite changing demands.
• Be a self-starter and share positive energy.
• Be proactive, curious, and robust.
The majority of our projects are executed according to the Novo Nordisk Project Execution Model (traditional waterfall), but as the project manager in this position you will also be using tools from the Agile, LEAN and other methodologies.
The position also opens for portfolio management of projects govern by the API Strategy Office. It will only be natural for you to be part of the working group around the portfolio, maybe as the portfolio manager.
Qualifications
• You hold a master’s degree within pharmacy, engineering, or other related fields.
• You have 2-4 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry and/or 3 years of experience within project management.
• You are recognised as a project manager who motivates high performing and engaged project teams.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You have a flair for stakeholder management and networking at various organisational levels.
• We expect you to have experience in driving simplicity by use of LEAN tools.
• The position requires proficiency in English and understanding Danish is an advantage.
• You are ambitious and ready to be part of our on-going effort to re-think processes to be simple, robust, and digitalised.
About the Department
Our department is in Kalundborg and consists of 12 dedicated and highly talented employees. The department will be expanding over the next couple of years, so a lot of new colleagues will join and help us being a Strategic function that must support our QA organisation in API. We always ensure a high level of quality in close cooperation with our other stakeholders and the rest of the QA Organization. Our team, API QA Strategy Office covers project management, IT/digitalisation and audit/inspection and training across API QA. In project management we focus on improvements, simplification, and digitalisation.
