You can help people with diabetes or other chronical diseases in a lot of ways. Working as QC and data scientist in our QC laboratory in Kalundborg is one of them.
Are you familiar with abbreviations as GMP, QC, HPLC, TOC, DV, terms as method validation, dataflow, trend, Lean, Pharmacopeia and applications like excel, Tableau, SASjmp, Alteryx?
Then you are ready for a job as QC scientist combined with a role as data specialist.
(If not familiar but interested in learning it: Do not worry, we will teach you all you need to know. It is all about securing right quality of the medicine in the most optimised way by using all the data we can possibly get out of our systems).

You can help people with diabetes or other chronical diseases in a lot of ways. Working as QC and data scientist in our QC laboratory in Kalundborg is one of them.
You will work with securing the best medicine for our patients in a team of 14 with other scientist and laboratory technicians together with the other laboratory teams in the department and in cooperation with the API production plants. We do this together – meaning we need a team player with good communication skills in Danish as well as in English

About the department
In Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), located in Kalundborg, we produce insulin and GLP-1 to help people living with chronical diseases like diabetes and obesity. We always have many exciting projects across Novo Nordisk - some require entirely new setups to utilise the opportunities in contemporary technology, while other are more focused on optimising existing setups.
Insulin Manufacturing 1 (IM1) in Kalundborg is the world’s largest insulin factory. We produce the active ingredients which are the main component in many of Novo Nordisk’s products including our new oral product Rybelsys® for which we have high expectations. IM1 is unique as we have the entire production chain gather under 1 roof.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role you:
- Hold a master’s degree from natural sciences, engineering, pharmacology or similar.
- Preferable combined with knowledge of processing large amount of data, continuous improvement and experience working with qualification and/or validation of chemical analysis from laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry or other GMP regulated environment.
