The position
As a Safety Solutions Engineer, you will participate in project activities for investigating design, constructability, schedule and cost for a potential new production facility. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class safety disciplines in terms of SGS, ABA and CE-marking from other production facilities.
You will have the responsibility for:
• determining the right ATEX strategy.
• implementation and commissioning regarding CE and emergency safety systems (eg. SGS, ABA)
• implementing known solutions as well as developing new design solutions where relevant.
You will take part in building a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You will proactively manage project risks and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.
This role is based in Kalundborg with some flexibility of working from home.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, we imagine that you have:
• +5 years of experience within GMP, preferably within the oil/gas or pharmaceutical industry.
• min. a bachelor-level education within the mechanical, electrical, pharmaceutical process, marine engineering, or similar. Alternatively, you are an AP Graduate within the field of electrical service engineering, and you have received further training in safety etc.
• project management experience from cross-organisational project assignments.
• certain knowledge about ATEX and about technology trends within safety systems.
• proficiency in English (verbal and written).
