We investigate how to establish new, ground-breaking biotech facilities based on modern technology with fully automated operations and digitalised processes.
We are now hiring senior project leads, and process specialists within the following disciplines: Fermentation, Recovery, Purification, Freeze- and Spray-drying, Facility design and construction, Utility design and construction, Automation/IT design and construction as well as experienced profiles within industry 4.0 technologies and Health & Safety. We expect to post jobs continuously. The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, home of Novo Nordisk API manufacturing.
About the position: Process Engineer within Freeze-drying
As Process Engineer, you will participate in overall project activities for investigating design, constructability, schedule and cost for a new freeze-drying facility. The aim is to produce several of NN`s products in the facility. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class design standards from other freeze-drying facilities. Thus, you and the team must be focussed on implementing known solutions as well as developing new design solutions where relevant that will also include automation of manual processes where possible. You will take active part in a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You will contribute proactively to the management of any project risks and to the development of standards ensuring structure and transparency.

About you
To be considered for this position, you should:
- Have +3 years of experience within GMP and ideally API manufacturing.
- Have min. a master level education within chemistry, pharmaceutical process engineering or similar.
- Project management experience from cross-organisational project assignments is an advantage.
- Be driven by a strong motivation to succeed.
- Be curious about technology trends within bulk manufacturing.
- English proficiency (verbal and written). The working environment is internationally.
- Experience with Freeze-drying will be an advantage. Employment will reflect skills and experience.
