About the department
The unit consists of approximately 27 colleagues divided across 2 different teams who together, covers most aspects of quality, development, maintenance and operation of the site’s IT and Automation architecture, hardware, software, infrastructure, and documentation.
You will be joining the Projects and Optimization team, where we among other things provide support to some of the newest production lines in Novo Nordisk A/S, which produces a variety of Novo Nordisk A/S products. The team currently consists of highly skilled technicians, engineers, and system managers. Our main responsibility is to apply a quality, problem solving, and service mindset for the automation systems installed. Moreover, we play a vital role during process design and redesign through collaboration with the factory’s product and process responsible.
Being a part of an 24/7 on-call duty setup is mandatory for this position. This means that you will be on-call, after normal working hours, in a rotation setup with your colleagues.

The position
You will be working in a pharmaceutical production facility in accordance with current quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements and be a key initiator to ensure launches of some of Novo Nordisk A/S life-saving medicines.
Responsibilities: Support and develop the automation systems Identifying improvements and optimise processes by using LEAN tools Design and implementation of upgrades, corrective measures, and optimization of the software Collaborate and participate in major projects with validation and automation mindset Qualifications An academic or technical background combined with working experience within complex automation systems and system validation is an advantage Experience with completion of validation and qualification documentation is an advantage You can have several years of experience, or you may just have finished your education or training. Most important to us is that you are eager to learn and/or have proactively sought out hands-on experience within your field.
You must thrive in a busy working environment, not always knowing what the day will bring. Your personality helps to establish good relations and support your ability to work across functions at all levels in an organisation. It is a benefit if you are proficient in Danish and a must that you can communicate in English.
