Then join us as Environmental Supporter in Project Supply Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (PS API) at the site Kalundborg, Denmark. Read on to find out more! About the Position As Environmental Supporter you will be our expert within compliance and legislation on environmental matters as well as ambassador for driving environmental sound designs in a potential new production facility. You will participate in project activities for investigating designs, constructability, schedule and cost ensuring the best-in-class environmental solutions. Your main responsibility will be: Ensure compliance with requirements from national legislation as well as Novo Nordisk’s management systems for environment (ISO14001) and energy (ISO50001) when designing new facilities Collaborate, guide, and support colleagues and external consultants regarding external environment and energy aspects Collect, analyse, and report data from various sources in relation with environment and energy Establish ambitious performance targets for the external environment, collaborate with the management team to ensure they are met Strive for continuous improvement in our Novo Nordisk strategy of "Circular for Zero." Your primary focus will be on the potential new production facility, but you will also be part of a network of skilled colleagues all working with environment and energy management across Novo Nordisk's manufacturing organization, which is spread across multiple geographical locations. Our team consist of 10 highly skilled, experienced and dedicated colleagues, and we will do our best to welcome you to the team and provide any necessary trainings for you to feel competent and an important part of our department. Qualifications It is highly important that you speak Danish fluently because main part of your role will be working with environmental legislation and it is written just in Danish. To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Environmental Management, Chemical or Biochemical Engineer, or other relevant education such as the legislative area eg. Environmental law Minimum 2 years’ experience with environmental work, ideally from pharmaceutical production or extensive knowledge of water and sewage systems Solid knowledge of legislative requirements, ISO 14001/ISO 50001 standard, and audits/inspections Ability to design and develop the right environmental solutions while balancing the response with business needs Be fluent in English On a personal level, you are enthusiastic, have a strong personal drive, and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors. You are an analytical person who can set direction and motivate others. Since you will collaborate with various professions and across Novo Nordisk incl. the central environmental department, you need to have good stakeholder management skills.
