By this position you will be empowered to build the fundament for correct meta data as well as being dedicated to build standard digital workflows of the future. Do you have in dept data experience, Quality Control (QC) insight and/or flair to spot simplification potential? If so, you could be our new data specialist across PS API laboratories. About the area In PS API laboratories we are 340 colleagues, allocated in 4 different departments and we are responsible for performing all QC analysis across API DK as well as supporting manufacturing development. Our mission is to reduce manual work and increase the stability and efficiency of the laboratory processes and in long term basis transform our laboratories into a more automated and connected laboratories. You will be a part of a newly established team responsible for setting the direction and supporting executing of our digitalisation and automation strategy in PS API laboratories as well as supporting our labs towards industry 4.0 technology and standards. The new established team is anchored in IM1 QC and consist of two project managers and a LIMS Static Specialist. Aside from the team you will work closely together with colleagues across the four laboratory departments, local API project coordinators and colleagues driving various innovation projects across NN. To obtain a solid foundation for a future digitalized and automated laboratory we have identified a need for a dedicated focus on our GlobalLIMS data and, at first, the structure of our meta data. As our new data specialist, you will support the laboratories in having FAIR data in close collaboration with process owners and static builders across areas - data ready for the future. Specific tasks Support QC in having the right data structure and standards in LIMS data enabling future digitalization strategy Supporting running digitalization projects Identify digital pains and recommend future solutions Support our build of generic dashboard solutions across API and PS Understand data and code (Java and Python) SQL and database handling Support organisation in building data standards across departments Represent PS API in groups across Novo Nordisk Qualifications You hold a master’s degree within computer science, data, engineering, or similar or you have work related experience within data framework Experience with data mining & visualisation – preferably in Tableau & Alteryx Strong interest in tech and advanced analytics You identify problems in a structured way and develop solutions/recommendations based on best practices It is an advantage if you have laboratory experience and understanding of QC processes You have experience within the pharmaceutical/GMP environment or another highly regulated environment Great communication skills with the ability to build relations with stakeholders at all levels across NN Setting direction and “swim against the tide” do not let you feel unconfutable You are fluent in written and verbal English We do know that not all dreams come through, but we wish to see a well-educated candidate with a great sense of curiosity, structure, an open and positive mind, and a high level of ability to work independently as well as in a team.
