Do you have a background in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar? Do you want to ensure diabetes medications for tomorrows patients? Then apply to help us increase the capacity of our purification department. This job ad covers several positions with where you will quickly gain responsibility of a process section. The department We are a diverse department consisting of operators, skilled workers, academics and more organised in 6 teams all focussing on producing products for diabetics around the world. In total we are currently about 140 people working to keep the purification facility running 24/7. The position We are looking for people who will support the equipment the production facility and related production processes. This would require a great deal of planning and coordination within the department and external vendors.
Key responsibilities could include:
  • Main responsible for either large HVAC systems, freeze drying, columns or solvent mixing
  • Writing and executing change requests to implement improvements including validation when required
  • Develop maintenance strategies to optimise running time
  • Coordinate with other process owners in the department to ensure optimal production capacity at all times
  • Take part in cross-functional meetings to align and further develop processes across the production site

  • You probably have M.Sc. or BSc within engineering, mechanical engineering, marine engineering equivalent to Professional bachelor as Maskinmester in Danish. However, if you feel like your professional experience makes you a good fit to this position, we strongly recommend you to apply as well.
  • Technical know-how of productions systems acquired from industry or education is preferred.
  • You are familiar with LEAN principles and can work in accordance with them.
  • Prior experience working in a production area is advantageous, but not required.
  • Experience working with skilled workers, remodelling or similar would be advantageous.
  • Some experience with production process would be an asset.
  • GMP knowledge and experience is beneficial, but not necessary.
  • On a personal level you are goal-oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to operate in a systematic manner because LEAN principles are implemented throughout the organization. Furthermore, this position requires ability to set the tone on multiple tasks and adjust your communication to different stakeholders skilfully.
