The Position
As the Project Manager in Supplier Management, you will play a vital role in addressing supply chain challenges, primarily focusing on collaborating with all our vendors and stakeholders to optimize procurement processes, foster strong supplier relationships, and drive our investment projects forward.

In this position you will be responsible for:
• Managing and coordinating contract and internal resources to successfully deliver project deliverables.
• Taking ownership of stakeholder management and providing regular project updates to management, project team members, and relevant units.
• Establishing clear project benefits, goals, and success criteria while effectively communicating them to stakeholders.
• Tracking project performance, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely achievement of milestones.
• Demonstrating excellent data management skills for analyzing and interpreting supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions.
You will work from both our location in Virum just 5 km north of Copenhagen and from our main location Kalundborg 1-2 times a week. You will also travel internationally, mainly to Central Europe, approximately 1-2 times a month.
Qualifications

As we are looking for several new colleagues to join our team, we would welcome applications from any candidates with experience, education and interest in Project and/or supply chain management and we will evaluate how your profile fits into the open positions’ requirements. We imagine that a successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• An academic degree in a relevant field such as engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a similar discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in a supply chain or expediting role, showcasing your ability to successfully oversee and execute projects.
• A solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, allowing you to effectively plan, monitor, and control project activities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and management, with a keen aptitude for extracting meaningful insights from complex data sets. This skill will enable you to make informed decisions and drive project success.
• Fluency in English. As an individual, you possess flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities enable you to tackle challenges effectively. You demonstrate the unique capacity to work independently and take initiative, while also being an invaluable team player. Moreover, your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills allow you to collaborate effortlessly with vendors and stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective and fruitful partnerships.

About the department
The Advanced Expediting Management Department is being introduced as a proactive solution to mitigate key risks associated with contractors and suppliers in the BD/AF and PPV departments. The primary objective of the Expediting Management Department is to effectively mitigate risks related to the delivery of bulk materials, components, and instruments by implementing proactive measures and setting a clear direction for the organization. This department will work in close collaboration with our engineering partner, who will continue to handle daily operations.
