The position As department LEAN Partner, you will act as a wingman to the Director regarding deployment of the strategy and driving the LEAN initiatives needed to ensure our processes are stable and ready for our major ramp up. You also will be a member of the management team of the department. You will be part of a team of 8 problem solvers and have a key role in the department management team driving continuous improvement and daily shop floor coaching for director and team leaders. Your day will consist of: Hands-on execution of Value Stream Mapping (VSM), A3; Implementing NN PSPS and current LEAN (cLEAN) known internally, Supply System (CSS). Be a trainer in 1-star, A3 etc; Coaching 2-star candidates. Driving and supporting the performance management and policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri) processes in the department and ensuring alignment with the Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas goals and ambitions. Identifying focus areas for process improvements in your department linking it to the BRD VSM and driving and supporting execution at department level. Facilitating and sharing best practices across CVP area, BRD and PS, through the LEAN Partner Network, LEAN Academy, and other channels. You will be a main driver of ensuring a culture where current cLEAN, is the standard way of operating, and pursue elimination of waste to improve our performance and deliverables. Furthermore, embodying and catalysing a culture of scientific thinking, continuous improvement, and LEAN Leadership behaviours.
Qualifications
Your experiences include: Preferably you hold an academic degree with a relevant subject matter (engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management or project management). Proven experience in driving process improvements in production areas within the pharma industry or other highly regulated industries. A LEAN toolbox supplemented by a NN 2 STAR/green belt or equivalent license within LEAN. Coaching leaders and employees with experience working on the shopfloor, where you have exhibited proven leadership insights and sparring. Engaging and proactively advising stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Additionally, experience in teaching LEAN Principles, Systems and tools and LEAN Leadership Behaviours and bringing practical experience in analysing data and trends. About the department
Our team is part of the BRD Finished Products Kalundborg area that is part of our largest production complex in Novo Nordisk. Here we are app. 675 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We rely on our best-in-class packaging department and our newly established high-tech and high-volume filling facility. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly, and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
