The Position The Biochemical team performs a variety of analytical methods, including Cell-based Bioassays, ELISA, Endotoxin, and Southern Blot. As a member of this highly skilled team, you will work as a scientist/engineer with a primary focus on: • Providing support for daily laboratory analyses to ensure the right quality and compliance. • Contributing to the ongoing efforts to standardize, digitalize, and automate the QC laboratory. Digitalization and automation are increasingly crucial aspects of future laboratory work. The Biochemical team maintains a significant interface with stakeholders, making effective communication and multitasking abilities essential. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, frequently utilizing systematic problem-solving methods such as LEAN. Currently, our Biochemical team comprises 19 laboratory technicians, 3 scientists, and one specialist. We offer an exciting role with diverse tasks, ranging from routine assignments to high-tech projects. Personal development is a top priority within our team. Qualifications You will be a great asset to our team because you:
  • Hold a master’s degree in science or engineering.
  • Possess a knack for working with IT systems and equipment.
  • Embrace a can-do mindset
  • Demonstrate an excellent command of both written and spoken English, along with either a proficiency in Danish or a willingness to learn, in addition to having a relevant business background.
  • Preferably, have experience with cell technology, analytical methods, such as Bioassay, ELISA or southern plot, programming, and/or automation.
  • About the department Located in Kalundborg, the Novo Nordisk QC – API department comprises 135 highly skilled employees organized into seven teams. Our primary responsibility is to ensure the quality of our products. We collaborate closely with the production team to guarantee the delivery of top-quality products to our patients.
