Are you a driven, technically skilled leader who wants to make a difference for those with Diabetes or Obesity? Join us as Novo Nordisk's new Associate Manager for API Manufacturing I (IM1), Fermentation & Recovery in Kalundborg. The Position You will be part of a management team in a dynamic business area which produces Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients across the world. As an Associate Manager, you will lead an operational team of highly skilled employees in a growing department. The main tasks will be to:
  • Recruit, lead and develop your team, coach
  • Ensure production output, product release and performance improvement
  • Secure quality and compliance of product and process
  • Assist in further development of LEAN production
  • Set objectives and targets to optimise productivity and costs
    • You will also be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing resources and tasks in the team to ensure fulfilment of our ambition to obtain more capacity and a stable production of high-quality products out of the facility. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent
  • Have leadership experience
  • Preferably have experience with the production and/or development of pharmaceutical products.
  • Preferably have experience in GMP-regulated areas and possess LEAN knowledge.
  • Communicate fluently in English and Danish
    • As a leader, you collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You manage day-to-day and long-term operations, prioritize resources and tasks for increased capacity and stable high-quality production. This includes portfolio management of diverse projects. As a person, you possess strong logical skills, methodical problem-solving, and a commitment to quality. You easily adapt and make decisions in a dynamic work environment. You match employee needs, adjust leadership style, ask questions, and communicate at all organizational levels. About the Department In everything we do in Fermentation and Recovery, we believe in continuously developing people and processes in a safe and learning-oriented environment, thus creating the best place to work. The department consists of approx. 170 employees divided into 8 teams (5 operation- and 3 support teams). Over the coming years we will optimize our production to keep up with the demand.
