Apply now and join us! The Position As an Associate Process Scientist, you have a high degree of independence and a desire to improve the laboratory practice. Having a proactive approach to solving problems related to analytical methods and equipment is much appreciated, especially in coordinating and finding simple solutions regarding quality, cost, environment, and delivery. The main tasks will be to:
• primarily, support the daily operations concerning Chemical Analysis
• have professional responsibility for analytical methods such as HPLC/UPLC and assuring they meet current GMP requirements
• support stakeholders by providing expertise and solutions to secure stable production with the right quality
• provide proactive support to the lab, ensuring methods and equipment within your responsibility always perform with the highest output in the right quality
• contribute to the ongoing optimization of our existing processes; challenge existing processes respectfully and constructively, to ensure quality and improvement
The position is a maternity cover and is time-limited for one year. Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest more than DKK 42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases. The experience you gain during this tenure can add value to the future. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
• have a master’s degree in natural sciences or similar
• have experience with GMP
• have experience with UPLC and/or HPLC
• are fluent in Danish and English As a person, you have a strong quality mindset and a sharp eye for detail that you apply when needed. You are a positive and open person, with a drive to learn and take on new tasks. When solving your tasks, you do it independently in a systematic, simple, and effective way. You enjoy a dynamic workday with deadlines and find satisfaction in getting things done together with the rest of the team.

About the Department The department IM2 QC Laboratory is in Kalundborg and supports several productions. The QC laboratory performs chemical, microbiological, and biochemical analyses supporting DAPI and Biopharm. Furthermore, we are responsible for media production in DAPI. We are 139 highly dedicated employees divided into six teams, and we are looking for an employee for the team that is responsible for chemical analysis, a team with highly competent and experienced members.
