The Position As an Associate Process Engineer, you will have a central and cross-functional role as a link between production, support teams, and maintenance. You will be involved in optimizing our process for FVIII API and will ensure the commissioning of our processes, including cell cultivation and purification processes, run robustly and in compliance with relevant CIP (Cleaning in Process) / SIP (Sterilization in Process) requirements and regulations. You will be part of daily troubleshooting across different professional groups to ensure the production runs as smoothly as possible. The main task will be to: Have responsibility for troubleshooting and optimizing our CIP / SIP systems and daily follow-up with operators.
Contribute to ensuring that the production meets regulatory expectations.
Keep a strong focus on quality and safety, as you will also be involved in reporting and participating in inspections by authorities.
Have the daily responsibility for understanding and communicating the process you are responsible for, such as training operators, laboratory technicians, and craftsmen in your process.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar. • A knack for equipment and automation. • Experience with CIP / SIP systems will be a plus. • Fluency in English, Danish is a plus. About the Department The production in Kalundborg, with its approximately 150 dedicated employees, supplies the active ingredient in the product NovoSeven. The production process consists of mammal cell cultivation with subsequent chromatographic purification, and we produce around the clock, year-round.
