As our new Procurement Intern, you will directly report within the Indirect Spend Pipeline in the investment projects in API, and handle various assignments related to the projects.
Your responsibilities included but not limited to: Supporting the team members with market research & spending analysis Collaborating with Line of Business in running the competitive tenders and eAuctions Taking part in negotiations with suppliers and identifying new opportunities for API to improve its procurement operations Assisting the organization in achieving its ambitious objectives by engaging with stakeholders across various levels Practicalities: Internship period: 3-6 months Working hours: 18- 37 hours a week (with the flexibility in the exam period) Location: Kalundborg, Denmark Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows A Danish full-time work permit is required Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams. Qualifications
You are a Student who is in your last year of a Bachelor’s or Master's degree with a strong interest in Sourcing and Procurement within investment projects and sees potential in continuing in Novo Nordisk after the internship.
To thrive in this role, you need: Solid interpersonal skills and willingness to invest time and effort A structured mindset in managing your own time and deliverables based on business goals with concrete results A collaborative spirit in taking the initiative and displaying a high level of engagement Ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision) and make wise decisions Fluency in both spoken and written English As a person, you demonstrate your practical competencies, utilize agile methodologies, and effectively interact with stakeholder management. We expect you to be service-minded, to thrive in a busy environment, and to focus on solutions and opportunities. The atmosphere in API Business Support is informal, so it would be ideal for you to have a great sense of humour and enjoy a pleasurable working style. About the department API Procurement is part of API Business Support based in Kalundborg, Denmark.
The team is involved in the procurement activities related to the large CAPEX projects at site Kalundborg and liase with multiple stakeholders involved in this. We own the indirect spend pipeline and support the projects based on strong procurement competencies combined with a good understanding of the business in which we operate.
You will be part of an experienced API Procurement team consisting of 6 employees, embedded in API Finance & EHS with 19 collaborative colleagues as well as our stakeholders in our investment projects. Working at Novo Nordisk
