We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with a broad competence profile. Your main task will be to expand and maintain Purification Plant’s visual management system, and thereby enable employees and managers in the area to make data-based business decisions. Your main responsibilities include:
• Apply state-of-the art methods within programming, statistics, and visualization to generate insights and knowledge from our large and diverse data sources.
• Create data visualisations and dashboards.
• Support the rest of the organization with data analysis, during problem solving’s and improvement projects.
• Supervise students and collaborate with them to support the business intelligence science agenda. Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should:
• Hold a MSc in industrial engineering, operation management or similar
• Experience in Tableau and Alteryx
• Exhibit proficiency in basic programming skills
• Preferably experience with production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)
• Preferably experience with Machine Learning or other “advanced analytics” techniques
• Showcase strong communication skills, with a natural ability to engage with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds.
• Possess excellent fluency in English, both spoken and written communication
About the department
The Purification Plant area in Kalundborg makes part of the Diabetes API Manufacturing Hub. This area consists of four separate factories, plus various support functions. Each factory purifies different Active Pharmaceutical Ingrediencies for diabetes care and obesity products.
You will be working as part of PP BIO (Bioprocess Improvements-Optimization). We are a team centred around modelling, capacity optimization and manufacturing intelligence. Our goal is to help the rest of the organization make data driven decision.
We consist of 9 full time employees and a handful of students, working in close collaboration with the rest of the organization.
We aim to be a melting pot for new ideas, by mixing employees with different educations, level of experience and cultural backgrounds.
