The position
Come and join us as Raw Material Responsible! Your primary tasks will include: Being responsible for raw materials, excipients and purchased API for production in Novo Nordisk. Setting the specification for our raw materials based on the use at Novo Nordisk. Taking part in approval of new materials and new suppliers. Representing our team in projects across the organisation. Spending a great deal of time documenting the activities to ensure we are always ready for inspections from health authorities. Deviation and change request handling.
As part of our department, you will also be involved in the diverse assignments we deliver to many other parts of Novo Nordisk. This will offer you a variety of challenges and build strong collaboration with colleagues across the organisation.
Qualifications Your experiences include: You hold a degree in science (e.g., chemistry, pharmacy, engineering), or another relevant field within the natural sciences. You have experience with control of raw materials and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) material documentation. Quality experience including handling deviations. It is an advantage if you also have experience with analytics, knowledge within systematic problem solving, and an eye for processes and optimisation. You have strong proficiency in both written and spoken Danish and English.

About the department
Biotech & Rare disease (BRD) API DK FVII also more informal called ED2 consists of two departments (Production and Support), but we consider us as one unit, one house. Our main task is to produce Factor VII API to serve patient with Haemophilia and post-surgical bleedings. The job opening is in the Support dept. where you will join appr. 75 colleagues.
API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Denmark is part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced chemical and biotechnological processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We bring value to our patients by providing the cleanest possible high-quality API made in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) while constantly optimising our processes.
Working at Novo Nordisk Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD, we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products to people living with serious chronic diseases, but we also use our competences in biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We are more than 3000 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States.
