Novo Nordisk has announced to invest more than DKK42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases. Therefore, we are hiring colleagues within the area of Raw Material and Solvent (RMS) processing to join the investment project.
As a Raw Material and Solvent (RMS) Technician / Supporter, you will participate in project activities from design to construction, commissioning, qualification and later operation.
The position
You can look forward to supporting the project around new equipment, systems and processes for API downstream processing mainly in the area of storage, dispensing, puffer preparation and solvent mixing.
Your responsibility will primarily lie within reviewing design, prepare test and qualification documents and execute test and qualification runs. You will work with the supplier of the systems to clarify technical issues and visit them for inspections. Based on your hands on experience with operating large-scale bio-pharma facilities you will define and describe how to operate our new facility and start to build a team of qualified operators.
Since this is an investment project, you will be presented with unique challenges and opportunities for professional development, while being part of a competent owner organisation and collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines, organisations and backgrounds.
After the project is finished, the role will continue into an operational role, in which you will take a significant position in the API manufacturing organisation.
Qualifications
We are looking for experienced operators or technicians or process supporter in the field of Raw Material and Solvent (RMS) processing. The ideal candidate will have several years of practical experience as an operator or technician, may have undertaken some further training and is now looking to continue her/his career with increasing responsibility and challenges. To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have:
• Knowledge about biotechnology or chemical process technology
• A several years of practical experience from operating large-scale API facilities or experience of supporting operation in a supporter role.
• Good understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practise (cGMP).
• Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English.
