The Position As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 16 dedicated employees, holding different areas of expertise including laboratory technicians, Process Scientists, Process & Robot Engineers, and calibration technicians. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the department to ensure every team has efficient equipment
  • Driving, leading, and reporting on optimization projects and being project responsible
  • Leading & developing the team by coaching, and training employees to ensure the right composition of skills to address future needs
  • Overseeing and managing day-to-day operations and long-term planning of resources
  • Ensuring quality and compliance of products and processes and driving your leadership with a LEAN mindset
    • Your team will be responsible for all equipment and IT related to the department, as well as maintaining the building. In addition to managing day-to-day operations and long-term planning of resources, you will play a key part in developing your team and continuously improving performance to deliver excellent results. You will also be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing tasks and projects in the department to ensure the fulfillment of our ambition to obtain more capacity through advanced technology. As part of an effective management team, you will work closely together and take joint responsibility for the development of the department. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A degree in engineering, biotechnology, or equivalent
  • Some leadership experience and knowledge about lean leadership
  • Experience with pharmaceutical production and/or laboratory processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English
    • Preferred qualifications:
  • Leadership or project management experience
  • Experience working with advanced technology
  • Experience in GMP regulated production and knowledge about QC
    • As a person you have the ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and strong analytical skills with an interest in systematic problem-solving. You also possess the ability to thrive in a busy work environment where the agenda can change frequently and you can take new initiatives and be a good role model. About the Department The laboratory in M2, Kalundborg employs approximately 145 skilled employees divided into 7 teams. We are responsible for all operational analyses for the factories we service. Our laboratory supports the production areas by closely working together across the Kalundborg site – both in the production areas and across the rest of the laboratory in Kalundborg.
