Therefore, we expand our management team with an additional Associate Manager position, to head up one of our teams at site Kalundborg. The position is organised within Sourcing Operations as a part of CSDS (Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability). The Position In the position you will be a part of a strong management team that consist of seven other leaders and a specialist. In the daily operations, you will work closely together with the manager present in the warehouse at site Kalundborg. Your main tasks will be to: Ensure daily operations. Lead, coach and motivate your employees and ensure that they constantly are seeking to do things smarter. Keep a high-level quality mindset and maintain a great culture. Set direction linked to Sourcing Operation strategy. You will be also responsible for ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, to our receiving production sites. The position requires a close stakeholder management element, where continuously alignment with peers across Novo Nordisk supply chain is key to success. Furthermore, it is important to ensure a close interaction internally, with the part of the department that is located at site Hillerød. As a part of our leadership DNA, we constantly seeking optimization and therefore a part of the position will be to ensure, that our processes run optimally and in interaction with our customers. With the many customers across Novo Nordisk, it is crucial to see the bigger picture and how we can serve the business with good standards and high-quality mindset. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you: Possess min. 2 years of people management experience. Have experience with GMP and Novo Nordisk insights (a plus). Communicate fluently in Danish and English. To succeed in the position, you hold a set of good people skills. So, it’s in your nature that people like to follow you and you set a clear direction. You are well balanced and able to lead yourself through the day and life in general. As a leader, you have a strong business perspective and with a strategic ability to balance quality, delivery, and cost. You are comfortable being challenged by more senior stakeholders in decisions on quality issues and your high level of personal integrity and robustness enables you to integrate different views in the decision-making process. You are challenging your colleagues to ensure the best result and have no issues in leading a side. You are well organised and create strong results by engaging your employees in taking pride in delivering on their objectives. About the Department The department consists of +100 employees who ensure the daily execution of receiving, sampling, order management and global dispatch of raw materials. The department is divided into two locations (Kalundborg and Hillerød) with the majority of employees in Hillerød. The team based in Kalundborg consists of 14 employees. The team consists of 8 Quality Controllers, 4 Supply Planners, 1 GMP Supporter and 1 Facility Responsible. Working at Novo Nordisk Novo Nordisk is its people.
