Do you want to take the opportunity to join us from the early stages of building a new manufacturing site and be part of NN’s global IT organisation? Do you want to be a part of our international IT and Automation team? If your expertise covers the implementation of Robotic systems in a GxP regulated industry, this could be your chance! Bring your own personal ambition and dedication and join our team of highly qualified colleagues, with a passion to bring better treatments to the people who need them. The Position
As a Robotics Automation Engineer, you will secure the design, implementation, and deployment of Robotic systems such as Fleet Management, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AGR). You will ensure that these Robotic systems are integrated successfully and are able to seamlessly work with other systems such as; SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programable Logic Controller (PLC) equipment, plant historian, etc. After the project is complete, you will be part of the organisation that maintains and continues to develop the solution for future needs in operations. You will be responsible for:
• Identifying key risks, defining requirements, and ensuring alignment of Robotic systems solutions across the project
• Supporting the delivery, validation, and maintenance of Robotic systems solutions
• Create, review, and approve documentation related to the design, operation, and maintenance of Robotic systems
• Having a high focus on working with stakeholders, our external partners, and other automation organizations across the area
• Continued support after the project phase into operations, which will include on-call support rotations.
Your main location will be in Kalundborg, in close proximity of the manufacturing sites. As a lot of our collaboration partners work around Copenhagen, it is occasionally expected that you will also travel to work in those locations.
The project is of great strategic importance to Novo Nordisk, which has high visibility and support from Senior Management. At the same time, you will have a foot inside Novo Nordisk’s IT organization which supports all major expansion projects as well as operations.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in the role, you have:
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. within IT or Engineering
• 2-5+ years of experience with Robotic systems in an industrial setting; either from operations and maintenance, or from project participation.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements
• Experience within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industry (GMP) (a plus)
• The ability to communicate well in spoken and written English. As a person, you are energized by taking responsibility for automation and system integration. You are structured in your way of working and open to share information with your colleagues, work together as a team, and drive for joint results. You thrive in a multicultural environment and have an open mind-set. You have strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and can translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities.
