As our new CVP Partner for Environment & Energy, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting various environmental and energy initiatives across large construction projects. You will:
• Lead and guide energy and environmental initiatives across a large construction project.
• Champion and achieve targets related to environmental sustainability.
• Maintain environmental compliance with authorities and ISO management systems, including ESG reporting.
• Provide expertise and support to project management, ensuring licenses to operate and sustainability adherence.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders, including management, project managers, subject matter experts, and engineering partners. You will also contribute to strategic company-wide initiatives such as the Environmental Strategy and Circular for Zero. Additionally, you will be an active member of a cross-organizational environmental knowledge-sharing network, facilitating the exchange of best practices and innovative solutions. The job is located in Kalundborg.
Qualifications
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes then you could be the person we are looking for:
• An academic background within engineering, chemical engineering, sustainability or similar
• Some years of experience in a role focused on the environment
• The ability to navigate a complex process landscape
• Knowledge about Danish and European environmental legislation
• Knowledge about processes within the pharma industry or another GMP-regulated industry will be an advantage
• Full professional proficiency in English and Danish.
As a person, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference within environmental sustainability. You possess a high personal drive, work independently, and can focus on key areas. You aim to build extensive networks across the organization and excel at building relationships. Additionally, you have excellent stakeholder and project management skills, with experience in planning, presenting data, and motivating key stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
About the department
You will be joining PS API Expansions. The area is anchored in PS API, which is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employs approximately 30,000 of ’s 64,000 employees. PS API Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major API Expansions projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We build and design our future API facilities as multi-product facilities with the flexibility to accommodate future processes and display state-of-the-art technology and working environment. We focus on delivering the highest quality to patients globally in an efficient and environmentally sustainable way. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
