If yes, then you may be our new Manager in API (Product Supply, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) QA, Purification Plants (QA PP) in Kalundborg. Our current manager has been promoted, and we need a new manager to be close to our employees and stakeholders, apply now! The position You will assume a key role in leading and developing your team and influence the way we work with quality assurance. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead a team of approximately 12 QA colleagues, fostering close collaboration with production stakeholders

  • Maintain a focus on simplicity in all processes and continuously improve departmental operations

  • Develop your team members to ensure high performance and engagement in your team

  • Ensure team skills and competences align with Novo Nordisk Quality demands and authority expectations

  • In this role, you will report directly to the Director of the unit, and you will be part of a dynamic management group with two other managers and four principal scientists.   Qualifications We are looking for a colleague with a strong business perspective with a strategic ability to balance quality, delivery, and cost. To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold a bachelor or master’s degree within natural science, engineering or similar

  • Have some years of people management experience

  • Have worked in QA or production related roles

  • Have experience within the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry

  • Are fluent in English

  • On a personal level, you have the ability to provide leadership, coaching, and motivation to the team to achieve optimal performance but are also comfortable being challenged by senior stakeholders on quality issues, exhibiting high personal integrity and robustness. You are well-organized with a proven ability to engage employees to achieve objectives, coupled with strong communication and collaboration skills. About the department Product Supply API QA is responsible for assuring safe active pharmaceutical ingredients for our patients. The departments have highly dedicated and qualified employees led by an engaged and experienced leadership team. We perform a wide range of quality assurance activities, ranging from handling deviations, change requests and validation to quality support to optimization projects. You will be heading up a team where behavioural targets are leading the culture, and where setting direction for quality is driven through quality oversight and our ability to support and simplify our way of working.
