Do you want to be part of the continued success of DHL Aviation? Get a commercial education, whilst working in a company with more than 370 employees, and learning about performance and business processes. If this sounds interesting, then we are looking for you!
We are looking for a Business Support Apprentice for our Hub located in Copenhagen Airport. The Performance & Business Support team supports our business of 370 employees, a number that will grow over the next few years, as we prepare to move into our brand new office building next door in 2023.
You will play an important role in the Performance & Business Support Team where you will be working together with eight dedicated colleagues. You will work with a broad range of tasks where your curiosity, passion for learning, and your desire for new challenges will provide you with a well-equipped toolbox of continuous improvement tools. This will help you in your work with both data and processes.
You will be involved in the end-to-end process where you will be identifying potential performance improvements in our business. You will clarify the potential in optimizing the process and implement the solution. The required training will be provided, and the Performance and Business Support team will always be here to support you. Not only will you have the whole team behind you, but you will also have a fellow apprentice, who you can always turn to and seek advice from.
Your sense of structure and the framework tools you will learn will help you navigate in a changing environment. Your ability to shift focus when incidents occur quickly will help you in adapting to business needs. You will use your analytical skills to understand data.
You are not afraid to ask questions and challenge views in order to get a deeper understanding of making improvements and refine a process. Your collaborative skills will come into play when interacting and cooperating with managers and employees at all levels in the organization to clarify potential opportunities for improvement in business processes. Your accommodating and humble approach will help you navigate in an international environment where communication in both English and Danish comes naturally to you.
We expect you to have finished high school (HHX, STX, EUX, etc.). Previous work experience is an advantage. Do you have experience from studying abroad? Yes? Great! This could be an advantage as well, but it is NOT a requirement. You are a capable IT user with a great interest in data stratification and visualization. You easily acquire new IT skills, just like it is the most natural thing for you to work with MS Office applications.
