As a starting point you will be placed at the core of the Customer Allocations program and work closely to our Product Owner and Business Stakeholders. The program is divided into several cross functional teams and you will be joining one of these teams.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be the test automation and QA engineer with strong testing skills in your Team, share technical knowledge, mentor developers and collaborate with the other teams in the program. You will be reporting directly to the Delivery Lead of the department. Your tasks will among other things include the following:
• Engages with product teams early in product life-cycle to determine and collect test data requirements.
• Coach engineers to ensure the needed data is correctly selected, obfuscated, seeded and conditioned in all needed data systems in the test environments.
• Provides technical leadership and strategic direction
• Pro-actively analyses current processes and practices, suggesting and driving improvements for test data delivery.
• Participates/Supports across the development lifecycle of Unit test, component performance test and integrated performance testing.
• Actively participates in the development of test strategies, test estimating, test planning.
• Works collaboratively with engineers so that test failures are found as early as possible.
• Ensures high standards are maintained on the quality of the delivery.
The ideal candidate is a proactive Engineer, who has a proven track record with Test Automation. We are immediately in need of a team member with the following skills and experiences:
• An understanding of the latest test data management trends and their role in a commercial environment
• Experience with Jmeter, Maven Plug-ins (Junit, Ja Co Co, Checkstyle), BDD (Selenium, Rest Assured, Cumcumber)
• Experience in running and evaluating performance test results
• Ability to work with teams, to influence, to co-operate, and to collaborate
• Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
• Strong background in, and at least 3+ years of working in test data tooling and delivery
• Experience Testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments
• Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals with a minimum of 4yrs practical experience
• Experience of using Microsoft SQL or other relational databases
• Practical knowhow of working with Git and pull request principals.
• Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.
Furthermore, you will be able to grow in different areas with us, but if you have already the following skills, it will be considered an advantage:
• Back-end and Front-end development (e.g. Angular/React, Java)
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Cloud
