In direct reference to our Global Head of Finance, you will be a key player two steps from our Global CFO and act with informal people management and strong leadership capabilities.

You will handle complex accounting issues around areas such as newly acquired entities, you thrive in a dynamic work environment, navigate complex rulesets and regulations, and excel at driving and bettering processes in a smooth, proactive, and efficient manner.
You will be part of a successful, growth oriented global FinTech with a track record of international success and continued global expansion.
In collaboration with our Head of Financial Compliance, who is our IFRS specialist, you will act as a true subject matter expert and advisor for the finance organization on key global finance initiatives and complex accounting issues.
As a person, you are knowledgeable and experienced in your areas of expertise, you take ownership of finance transformation projects and you will be part of building a best in class global finance organization.
You will be the lead on complex accounting issues and challenges as they arise. You will investigate issues and find solutions, structure practical implementation methods and handover further practical measures and tasks for finance colleagues in the team.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
You will work closely with the organization to ensure practical solutions to complex accounting issues around for example mergers and acquisitions, integration of newly acquired BinckBank into Saxo Bank platforms and continuous implementation of IFRS.
From you, we expect significant ambitions with an unassuming attitude and always favoring close personal dialogue. Plus 10 years of finance experience consisting of an audit background combined with practical experience from a complex finance environment including IFRS, complex consolidation and Group Finance is a prerequisite. A strong skillset within finance transformation is a plus.

Your role

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Participate in and owner of special finance projects and/or ad-hoc requests as they arise
- Owner of the consolidation system, which we are going to replace
- Deliver a substantial set of skills and interest in our finance transformation, including a cloud-based ERP implementation in the upcoming years
- Develop Group-wide accounting policy and implement practical solutions as appropriate
- Prepare appropriate accounting documentation/white papers on complex accounting issues
- Ensure a positive, results oriented working environment around financial reporting
- Continuously implement scalable processes and working methods in Global Finance that supports the growth strategy of Saxo Bank
- Collaborate with best in class technical accounting consultants on complex accounting matters
