The job
In RRC we work with advanced technical knowledge and skills to prevent the counterfeiting of future banknotes.
You will be both developing new techniques and optimizing existing methods in the reproduction of banknote security features. You will be part of a team that, through a high level of service, will ensure that the RRC's members achieve a high return on their various projects.
We offer
An opportunity to work with a broad field of highly motivated experts in the field of banknote security printing. A position that combines project management and ingenuity with creative graphic work. The work is done in our unique lab facilities where you will get to use both state of the art computers and printers as well as old graphic printing equipment.
There is no "business as usual" in the RRC. Each week, guests from other central banks visit and work in their particular way with the team members.
Your profile
We expect you to have a formal education in graphics and be trained within the printing industry (e.g. Mediegrafiker). You must be able to work efficiently with image editing and the color management of printed media. Experience in prepress, proofing and digital printing is a solid foundation for you to evolve from. Work experience with Adobe programs: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign are mandatory skills of desktop IT-applications and networks are recommended.
Knowledge of old techniques in the graphics area such as Silk Screen Printing, Chromalin, Film Processing, Polymer Platemaking and Intaglio Printing would be valuable assets working in the RRC.
We are looking for a new colleague with a passion for collaboration with many different cultures, good communication skills, calmness, patience and the ability to quickly shift focus to the new guests without losing sight of the administrative tasks and closure of the last visit.
The prerequisites are that you have normal color vision, are fluent in English (both spoken and written) and are able to obtain a "Y-HEM" clearing by the Danish authorities. A training period will consist of on the job training and participation in international conferences and fairs.
