As a SAP OTC Senior Engineer, you will be responsible to devise overall solutions besides working hands-on in SAP for complex requirements to realize the solution. For this, you will be required to work very closely with the product owner, business process owners and the other technology engineering teams and multiple stakeholders from both business and technology. You will partner with our OTC business product owners in translating epics into user stories and then delivering them in realizing optimal business outcome while following the enterprise architecture framework.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for executing overall solution for the SAP Order-To-Cash (OTC) product across Maersk business units
• Responsible for hands-on solution design to translate business requirements into final delivered products in Order-To-Cash (OTC) areas including Managing Billable items from Upstream, CI Integration methodologies and best practices, Configuring Billing and Invoicing processes for Invoice Aggregation, Scheduling the billing, Invoicing run using Billing Plans, Account Assignments, online customer solutions, tax & legal compliance, transfer pricing, master data, reporting – operational and management & data migration
• Help define the product vision, objectives and key results in alignment with business goals, in collaboration with the product manager and engineering manager
• Design and implement solutions by mapping business problems to end-to-end technology solutions – both in our existing ECC landscapes as well as our new S/4HANA solution being implemented
• Quality assurance of the solution from design to delivery and support
• Compliance to Enterprise architecture guidelines and product roadmap & ensure no architecture bottlenecks impacting delivery of solution
• Own solution design, ensure it is developed and implemented by our in house SAP team working closely with external partners
• Deliver, as needed, working hands-on to deliver SAP solutions and configuration for complex requirements – both in our current legacy ECC as well as the new S/4HANA solution
• Work in an agile team with OTC product owners, SAP functional & technical engineers and scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog
• Managing the Product backlog, including prioritization of needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers
• Work closely with development teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process.
• Responsible to improve the product performance metrics. These include value delivery, user satisfaction, performance of the support process, compliance, cost, stability of the product and deployment/roll-out performance.

We are looking for

• 10-15 years of SAP experience of which at 7+ years working as an SAP Order-To-Cash (OTC) Principal Consultant / Lead Consultant / Senior Functional Consultant
• Very strong experience working as an SAP OTC functional engineer in multiple large-scale SAP transformation programs
• In depth domain knowledge in the Order-To-Cash (OTC) area.
• Very good domain knowledge and hands-on SAP functional & engineering experience in the SAP Order Management, Billing/Invoicing including Managing Billable items from Upstream, CI Integration methodologies and best practices, Configuring Billing and Invoicing processes for Invoice Aggregation, Scheduling the billing, Invoicing run using Billing Plans, Account Assignments Master Data (Customer Master, Business Partner, Contract Account, Material Master…) and Data Migration
• Ready to scale up FICA Concepts like Collections, Disputes & Claims Management, Credit & Risk Management, Accounts Receivables Management, Customer Self Service.
• Experience with SAP BRIM - Convergent Invoicing, FICA, RAR in addition to SAP SD
• Have excellent hands-on experience of anticipating and resolving cross module (BRIM, FICA, SD, MM, TM, FICO, RAR) issues
• Experience in implementing multiple large and complex SAP Projects and designing solutions to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to work in delivering solutions that are heavy in integrations with other applications
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation is must but also able to work with equal ease in both S/4HANA & ECC
• Experience in working with OTC business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement, solution design and develop SAP roadmap for OTC line of business
• Proven ability to engage with senior level business and technology stakeholders to have mature conversation related to agility, business value, and end to end technical solutions
• Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models
• Excellent problem solving & communication skills
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or IT related discipline
• Experience in Logistics and/or Shipping industries would be a bonus
• Certification in SAP BRIM would be a distinct advantage
