You will be part of Network & Markets Finance, a diverse and motivated team with a great desire to support the transformation of our Ocean Business, optimize our Network and assist in making deployment decisions.
You will partner with the Network Strategy, Deployment and Equipment Fleet Team and support the vision to uplift our Customer needs by deploying reliable, efficient, sustainable, and innovative Network and Equipment solutions.
As a finance professional, you will enjoy being close to the execution of our strategy, influencing the outcomes in a direct and sustainable manner. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to decisions made in Network Strategy and Deployment which have a significant impact on the financial performance of Maersk’s Ocean business.

Key Responsibilities
You will support and engage in business decision making with Network Strategy, Deployment and Equipment Fleet, by interacting with multiple stakeholders within Maersk, providing value-add analysis, performance management reporting and financial forecasting. You will actively support business priorities and ensure close alignment between various Senior Business Stakeholders in Network Strategy & Deployment, Network & Markets and Chartering.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Drive accurate, and aligned reporting of financial and operational performance incl. KPIs and ad-hoc analyses, and understanding the impact of key performance indicators on future development
- Actively support the stakeholders in their transformation journey to new processes and company structure, coordinating with other functions on various of the Ocean core initiatives
- Coordinate and ensure solid storyline for performance review meetings
- Understand financial and operational footprint to effectively support with insights business decision making that improve business results
- Facilitate scenario analysis for new projects and support business cases for Network and Markets and Equipment
- Weekly/Monthly forecasting of Deployment changes, Business Plan activities and budget planning
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for the role will have a background in high-impact finance roles, with a previous experience with contributing to business results through financial insights.
A master’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration combined with at 5+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning and analysis, Strategy Consultancy
or equivalent.
Key competencies are:
- Effective collaboration and open communication skills, enabling engagement and influence on multiple stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Proven analytical and logical capacity, being able to zoom in on the relevant details, while never losing sight of the big picture. Conveying insights extracted from data into concise, commonly understood business language for effective decision-making.
- Has a visible aspiration for results, inspires others to continue learning and does not bind by functional and leadership level boundaries.
- You have great interpersonal skills, strong integrity and a humble personality that goes well with people at all levels in a global organisation.
To achieve goals in our team, we are looking for a motivated person with a growth mindset, constantly developing your skills through learning from experiences, from others and from trying new things.
You are skilled in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
