Are you an experienced Market Access / HEOR professional looking for a new challenge? Join Sanofi Denmark as the Value and Market Access Manager responsible for a diverse portfolio of products. You will be responsible to create and implement a new market access strategy keeping in mind the changing local reimbursement and funding process as well as building relationships with key opinion leaders and payers.

Purpose of the role/Mission
• Achieve optimal and timely pricing and reimbursement conditions for defined Sanofi portfolio in Denmark with epidemiological and economical information to develop, position and manage product life cycle for assigned projects
• Effectively understand, adapt to local needs and communicate internally and externally the value proposition of assigned products/franchises
• Act as market access (V&A and HEOR) business partner for defined business franchises/projects
• Provide strategic Health Economic advice to all BUs/franchises within Sanofi in capacity as Senior Health Economist for Sanofi Denmark
• Develop and implement local strategic market access plan(s) and activities
• Obtains HEOR insights to inform the HEOR policy agenda that maximizes opportunities for gaining and maintaining optimal market access
• Plan and execute the creation, collection and utilization of real-world evidence according to project specific needs
• Establish and maintain internal and external network required for scope of work
Duties & Responsibilities
• Collect epidemiological and health economic data for defined therapeutic areas; through adaptation of Global deliverable and/or through development and implementation of local studies in collaboration with Global HEVA. Depending on project, this work may be done in cooperation with external vendor. Project management of vendor.
• Prepare market for new products in close collaboration with Head of Market Access and Public Affairs and BU/Franchises. Provide advice, follow-up and propose projects/studies for the optimal market conditions
• Identify, manage and implement projects related to market access in line with commercial strategic priorities in cooperation with BU/Franchises
• Manage and contribute to planning, submission, implementation and coordination of high quality and timely reimbursement processes/dossier, including health economic models and budget impact models for defined areas in close cooperation with Head of Market Access and according to BU/Franchises priorities
• Manage, in collaboration with Head Market Access / Public Affairs and Regional and Global (as required), approvals for local access business cases
• Responsible for country HEOR strategies, tactics, projects, and timely deliverables adapted to the country requirements to maximize market access and commercial uptake (i.e. local Value Dossier development/submission, local real-world evidence (RWE), economic evidence, HEOR models, all in accordance with and adaption of the global HEOR studies, models and other resources
• Responsible for collaborating with Global HEVA to adapt global evidence and generate local evidence needed to support access
• Contribute to, and support, tender processes and pricing cases and other internal processes as needed
• Maintain a high level of local knowledge with regards to the scientific, clinical and commercial developments in the product area(s)
• Develop and maintain a robust understanding of Country pricing and reimbursement criteria used by local payers to make informed decisions about payer strategy, plans and tactics
• Understand the evolution of the Country market access landscape and implications for the business
• Understand payer value drivers within a specific disease area for product positioning, prioritization and trade-off decisions
• Responsible for Key Opinion Leader/Expert contact within V&A and HEOR sphere defined areas
About you
Essential Requirements:
• Higher education in the relevant field, specific health economic education
• Solid understanding of health economics and modelling
• Good understanding of the pharma sector, including cross-functional internal structures (marketing, regulatory, medical affairs, clinical, market access, public affairs, communication)
• Several years of experience with market access and health economy in pharma or a closely related industry
• Solid understanding of the reimbursement environment and the needs of external and internal stakeholders
Knowledge and language skills:
• Excellent project management skills, ability to work independently and high personal drive
• Strong analytical, communications and strategic thinking skills
• Team worker, proactive with a winning mindset
• Capability to build a network and relationships, in addition to strong ability to influence the relevant stakeholders
• Strong interest in health care system design and development including reimbursement policy
• Proficiency in Danish and English
