Do you have a background in finance or internal audit and experience with the implementation, execution, and maintenance of financial controls? Wunderman Thompson Marketing Automation & Personalisation Centre of Excellence (MAP CoE) is a unique organisation, delivering high-impact digital marketing experiences that enrich and evolve brand-consumer relationships.

As our new Senior Audit and Business Director, you will be 100% dedicated to the implementation, execution, and maintenance of financial controls for our top entities, which includes Wunderman Thompson DK and UK, Commerce, and other complex entities. You will work closely with the local CFOs and our Global Internal Audit team. Instead of delivering new controls to the entities, you will be dedicated to the complex entities within Wunderman Thompson EMEA. Here, your task will be to secure that controls are in place and give constructive feedback based on your practical experience. The role is hands-on and day2day based, with a focus on continuously ensuring and building an even stronger control environment. More specifically, your tasks include:
You will join our Finance and Legal team in Copenhagen, currently consisting of approximately 10 competent and respectful colleagues. Our work environment is friendly, easy-going, and characterised by a high level of job satisfaction. Help is never far away, and even though we are always working to meet deadlines, we prioritise having a good time as well. We are a flat organisation in rapid growth and we love growing the talents of our people; many of our people have been at our agency a decade or longer.
You will work jointly for Wunderman Thompson CoE for personalisation and Wunderman Thompson EMEA reporting to both the local and group CFO.
As a person, you are outgoing, proactive, and used to working with strict deadlines. It is important that you are attentive to details, perseverant, and strive in a fast-paced international environment. What will your day look like?
As our new Senior Audit and Business Director, you will be 100% dedicated to the implementation, execution, and maintenance of financial controls for our top entities, which includes Wunderman Thompson DK and UK, Commerce, and other complex entities. You will work closely with the local CFOs and our Global Internal Audit team. Instead of delivering new controls to the entities, you will be dedicated to the complex entities within Wunderman Thompson EMEA. Here, your task will be to secure that controls are in place and give constructive feedback based on your practical experience. The role is hands-on and day2day based, with a focus on continuously ensuring and building an even stronger control environment. More specifically, your tasks include:
- Executing and taking lead in order to ensure that ICFR and WPP internal controls are in place and continuously updated
- Advising and reviewing for PCAOB and local audits
- Supporting other business and finance related areas, e.g. WPP reporting.

What do you bring to the table?
As a person, you are outgoing, proactive, and used to working with strict deadlines. It is important that you are attentive to details, perseverant, and strive in a fast-paced international environment. You have practical experience from a background in finance or internal audit and can, therefore, act as a strong partner. In addition, you have:
- A relevant degree or master’s level qualifications within audit or finance
- +5 years of experience with internal audit or financial controls
- Practical business experience
- An appetite for working with different entities, which includes business related trips within EMEA
- Excellent communication skills in English – both spoken and in writing.
