UX / UI Student Assistant
Every year over 5 million people travel onboard DFDS ferries. Passenger Tribe works tirelessly to position DFDS as an attractive mode of transportation making their journey safe and frictionless from the moment, they decide to book their ticket. DFDS is turning 154 this year. To stay relevant and ahead of our competition, we need to craft experiences, that reach further than just “best in the industry”. Would you like to help us? You will join a development team called Excellent Booking Experience. The team is serving our passengers with a modern booking experience. Your main responsibilities will be:
Aside from being part of a development team you are expected to be an active member of the UX & Design Chapter. The “Chapters” in DFDS focus on your professional development, implementation of a unified strategy and sharing best practices across the organisation.

About the job
You will join a development team called Excellent Booking Experience. The team is serving our passengers with a modern booking experience. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Sparring and supporting main UX’er in the tribe
- Testing and perfecting our various booking flows for passengers
- Support for in-house developers building the product
- UX & Design Chapter participation: UX sparring with your Chapter Lead to support your professional development
Aside from being part of a development team you are expected to be an active member of the UX & Design Chapter. The “Chapters” in DFDS focus on your professional development, implementation of a unified strategy and sharing best practices across the organisation.
About you
You are a Creative with a burning passion for data and the following skills and mindset:
- You must be a student of final year of Bachelor or first year of Master’s
- Your studies must be related to UX
- English fluency
- User of Figma or Sketch.
- You see data as an essential part of digital development.
- You have both a creative and analytical mindset which helps you innovate, structure and visualize your ideas.
- You are comfortable in a collaborative environment and respond well to feedback, whether it is coming from the rest of the Chapter, user tests, Hotjar or Google Analytics.
