Do you want to build and implement a group ERP system based on Dynamics 365? Are you passionate about the latest cloud-based trends and technologies? And are you motivated by playing a central role in a highly visible system implementation, crucial to our colleagues in Finance, HR and Procurement? Then this role is for you.
DFDS is in the process of digitizing our back office. The largest project in this process is the implementation of a new ERP system for Group Finance, HR and Procurement including interfaces to a suite of back office systems and 70+ integrations, external and internal. We are therefore looking for additional developers to strengthen our team, both experienced developers and those seeking to develop a career within the field.
The position is broad and will include different responsibilities over the coming years as the project goes through implementation to a fully implemented system in operation. You will be part of a team of developers, IT consultants and architects, who have years of experience in supporting and maintaining our current finance systems.
Main Responsibilities
Working closely with colleagues and our implementation partners, you will play a key technical role in the design and implementation of our new ERP system. This includes your own research and development in D365, Power Platform and Azure. These areas are growing rapidly, and you will use the latest capabilities and tools from Microsoft as they become available.
A team in DFDS
You will be part of the Digital Back Office team. Your skills and passion for Microsoft Cloud solutions, including Power Platform and D365, will be a valuable driver in the team responsible for the essential ERP system in DFDS.

- Developing within D365 Finance, Power Platform, Logic Apps, CDS/Dataverse
- Understanding of processes within finance and procurement
- Been part of rolling out ERP systems
For the ideal seasoned candidate, we imagine that you have experience with a similar journey implementing an ERP system in a large organization and have documented experience in developing within D365 Dynamics Finance, Power Platform and Azure.
Preferred personal candidate profile
- You constantly check blogs, articles and online articles for latest and greatest within software development
- You form your own opinions about design and code, based on careful analysis, hands on and collaboration with colleagues and others. And you are not afraid to speak your mind.
- You have a curious mindset and can navigate in a complex myriad of Finance systems and integrations
- You know how to organize yourself and work systematically
- You are a social person, who engage yourself with colleagues, customers and collaborators
- You are a strong communicator in English
