About the Opportunity

Join Sanofi Denmark as a Commercial Manager to actively participate in the development and execution of agreed local action plans for the Vaccines business unit.

In this role you will work in close collaboration with the local GM and Commercial & Tender Manager and provide relevant input to the North Europe team in line with our global strategy. You will also have an external focus with includes interaction with customers and dialogue with customers.

In this role you will….

  • Actively contribute to the development of sales targets and OpEx level to ensure sufficient resources to reach local objectives

  • Together with the Commercial & Tender Manager (CTM) and GM contribute to the development and implementation of agreed strategic business plans in line with Global strategy adapted to local market needs

  • Propose and execute local tactical plans through effective resource-allocation & targeting, as well as monitor and evaluate various activities

  • Map and develop an action plan for decisions makers, KOLs and others who can make a change for current and upcoming vaccines. Capture and share market analysis and competitor insights

  • Ensure sufficient Public Affairs (PA) knowledge, -insights and -network in order to support local PA responsible and the team in PA projects

  • Explore and roll out opportunities in digital marketing activities – including enhance the value of using the HCP-HUB

  • Provide relevant input to- and ensure involvement of the north Europe team (marketing, sales, finance, medical, regulatory and supply)

  • Analyze overall brand potential, develop overall brand priorities and contribute to success of upcoming launches i.e. RSV together with the team


About you

Qualifications/ Education & work experience

  • Business education with major/specialization in marketing or sales – master level is an advantage or Scientific background (medicine, pharmacy, nursing, life science, etc.) through education or relevant experience

  • 4+ years commercial/ marketing/ business operations experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry

  • Proven marketing strategy knowledge combined with a strong operational background

  • Vaccines experience preferred, but not essential

  • Experience in digital marketing and use of digital tools, ability to utilize new channels in an effective and impactful way

  • Externally focused and motivated by meeting customers, convince, and sell ideas to promote the Sanofi vaccine portfolio

  • Good organizational & project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage various projects at the same time, meeting strict deadlines

  • Ability to work efficiently on own initiative as well as part of a team within a matrix organization, developing strong relationships with corporate-, regional- and local stakeholders

  • Strategic and analytical skills, ability to synthetize and communicate effectively with various stakeholders

  • A commercial and energetic presence. Autonomous, result-driven, creative and customer focused mindset

  • Oral and written fluency in Danish and English


Willingness to travel (10 -20% of working time) both in Denmark and to other countries in Europe.
