We are looking for a skilled System & Process Analyst, who can be the system expert and know our crew management system, Adonis, to the heart.
You will be the one who knows how the system is implemented and being used on our different vessels - a great chance for you to utilize your skills working with multiple stakeholders and an opportunity to work cross functionally between business operations, Technology & Innovation and external vendors.
Manage the need for continuous improvements
The primary role of the position is to participate in executing improvements to the system and processes in harmony with DFDS’s strategic goals.
As a System & Process Analyst for Adonis, you will assist in ensuring the efficiency of business operations, in creating, and implementing changes and make further adjustments to workflows, and other processes as required.
You will have a unique opportunity to both be a system expert and admin, while working with the end users in the field, gaining a deep knowledge of how the configurations and implementations we are doing affect operations on our vessels.
You will be part of our Employee Experience team consisting of 6 domain- and system experts in the different areas needed to ensure DFDS can provide a 1st class employee experience and a smooth operation.
The Team is part of our Core Tribe whose main purpose is to enable and enhance DFDS’ core corporate functions and digital touchpoints by building strong platforms.
In the team, two other colleagues are working on rolling Adonis out to the rest of our vessels and day-to-day collaboration with the vendor.
Your responsibilities are many and not limited to:
Turning the focus to youYour background to be successful in this role can be many and we imagine that you can either come from the user site or have experience from a similar role.
We imagine that you either have a background as a Master, Office, or Engineer at sea. You are used to working with certificates and highly regulated environments. You have a technical mindset and find it easy to learn new systems.
You could also hold a educational background within the field of Business Administration or related field with a mixed experience from business, process and/or operations.
We are looking for a professional who is structured, proactive, good with people and service oriented.
We are working agile so it’s a plus if you already have some experience with the agile project management toolbox. If not, we’ll teach you.
Since communication is part of your role it’s important that you are well-articulated in written and spoken English. You enjoy the dynamics of teamwork and diversity. You have a positive mindset and are a people person, you like to interact and build a network in your organisation.
You are happy to challenge existing processes and rethink the ways of working.

- Support and retrain our users to ensure best practices are followed and gather information about wishes, bugs, and improvements.
- Set-up new vessels joining the fleet, upgrade existing systems, and configuration changes
- Identify and specify new development or bug fixes towards our vendor.
- Assist in the cooperation with functional business partners to identify, define, interpret, and clarify scope of problems/issues and/or system requirements and processes
- Assist in managing change communication
- Troubleshoot user issues in the Adonis platform
- Support all testing of features and changes
- Documentation and best practice sharing of processes across entire fleet
- Define how the users needs can be implemented as a change to process or system, that works for the whole fleet
