We are an evolving team, where you can, with the right mindset, have a high level of influence on the way we design both processes and solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop and deliver scalable domain-based data products (both centralized and decentralized) based mostly on cloud infrastructure.
- Work cross-functionally with other data engineers, developers in build teams, data scientists, and product owners to find solutions that support the business initiatives.
- Contribute to the further development and technical implementation of our internal Data Platform to meet increasing demand.
- Design modern data architectures inspired by the “Data Mesh” approach.
- Contribute to introducing new technologies and ways of working to the team so both platform and team are continually growing and evolving.
- Integrate and participate in change management initiatives to support the adoption and continuous development of our platform.
What we will look for:
- We imagine that you have a background in a data-related field or in a software engineering role with an emphasis on data movement.
- Your curiosity about new technologies and business domains bring you great solutions, and willingness to be a continuous learner and contribute to your own development by finding the best solutions.
- Your ability to work on multiple tasks both independently and as part of a team is important skills
- You take pride in understanding and communicating with internal stakeholders at all levels and with teams in many offices/regions.
- Experience writing SQL queries and knowledge of C# or Python is desirable.
- As our platform is based on event streaming and cloud, some prior experience with Kafka and AWS/GCP would be a big bonus.
- It is advantageous if you are comfortable with tooling like Docker and Kubernetes.
