Experienced Project Manager for Ferry and Terminals

Then this is your opportunity to grow your potential in DFDS A/S as we are seeking an experienced and structured Project Manager to help our ports and terminal around Europe.
Join a large and ambitious tech organization
You’ll be part of Technology and Innovation Division in the Ferry & Terminals Tribe - more than 65 people distributed across Europe with main presence in UK, DK and Turkey. You’ll report directly to the Tribe lead and collaborate closely with the product owners responsible for our 5 agile teams building software for booking transport and for operating our port terminals. Across DFDS you’ll have more than 11.000 colleagues and with around 350 people working within Technology and Innovation, there will be plenty of opportunities for learning from and collaborating with specialists within many fields.
We are ambitious about the digital transformation of our company and humorously refer to ourselves as “a tech company with a few ships”.
We are ambitious about diversity and employee engagement and have just moved to a brand new, sustainable HQ next to the Oslo Ferry in Nordhavn.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Task will be many and varied, so a good skillset of planning, time management and prioritization is needed. Some traveling to different locations must be expected.

Great communicator in a complex stakeholder scenario
We are looking for an experience PM profile with a desire and ability to understand the complex world of terminals and freight shipping and build relations.
Your previous career has taught you to navigate safely in a complex setting with multiple stakeholders across sites in different countries. As you will be the link between stakeholders and colleagues with different professional and cultural backgrounds you must be a very good communicator.
Ideally you have experience being a part of a digital transformation putting technology in the center of value creation.

Upcoming tasks are:
- Creating a catalogue of our standard solutions for terminals together with product owners. Tracking and reporting on our progress on standardization and digitalization across the network.
- Change management with locations across Europe in case of new processes, software and hardware being installed.
- Take responsibility for specific implementation in our terminals e.g. a new automated gate. Collaborate with e.g. local management, product owners and external software and hardware vendors.
- Managing our contact to external stakeholders e.g. customs authorities or third party ports.
- Create business cases for various investment scenarios e.g. IoT investments.
- Help the tribe implementing various group programs e.g. on GDPR compliance, Employee surveys.
- Get an overview of a company’s tech setup in case of a potential acquisition.
