Are you our new Marine Recruiter for our Danish flagged passenger vessels?
Do you have a passion for handling various recruitment processes in a firm and structured way together with the focus on people relations? Will you have primary focus on ensuring the quality and follow up on recruitment, retention, as well as branding and development of our many sea-based hotel and catering positions? Then this role could be the right job for you!
The position is based in our new HQ in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, and you will get a variety of exciting tasks in cooperation with our fantastic crew in the fleet and a great team ashore.
We are looking for you to bring a wealth of experience, along with fresh ideas, to, primarily, support our hotel- and catering part of the crews, but also to be the driver of various recruitment processes and initiatives aimed towards all the crews on our vessels. This in cooperation with various stakeholders.

Principle responsibilities
- Full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to securing contract closure by the passenger vessel and the candidate
- Cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusive hiring
- Be part of the strategic and practical plan of branding DFDS as a great workplace for all sea-based positions
- Keeping the overall structure of the recruitment for the hotel and catering positions on board our four passenger vessels. This includes arranging recruitment days, contact with relevant schools and screening of candidates
- Supporting your colleagues in Marine HR with the collaboration with the Crews on board our vessels
- Support with various ad-hoc tasks
Preferred professional and personal skills
- A genuine interest in people with excellent communication skills
- An ability to track relevant processes, statistics, and procedures
- Knowledge and practical experience from the life and work on board vessels, especially passenger vessels are an advantage
- A sound up to date knowledge and experience of recruitment practices
- Danish and English at negotiation level both spoken and written.
