A senior commercial advisor helping to support TotalEnergies transition to become a multi-energy major and developing our energy portfolio in Denmark

Would you like to work within a cross-disciplinary environment and are you up for taking on a key role in expanding our energy and renewable footprint? Then this position in our commercial team might be for you. In this role, you will provide commercial insight and business development support to our renewable and multi-energy growth strategy that could include solar, wind, ptx, hydrogen, CCS, biogas and e-mobility as well as assisting the hydrocarbon business in commercial matters where required. DNA traits of the role
We are a commercial team of 6 split across two locations (Esbjerg and Copenhagen) linked with regulatory and public affairs under a Commercial and Regulatory Manager. We work closely with legal, economics, finance and technical teams in order to provide effective commercial advice across a variety of energies and topics.
As a senior commercial advisor you will have the responsibility to provide commercial support to the business development of renewables and further developing and implementing the multi-energy strategy. Initial focus will likely be in supporting CCS and the upcoming wind tenders in 2023. You may also be required to support ad hoc initiatives within the wider regulatory/public affairs/hydrocarbon teams from time to time.

In essence you can look forward to:
- A varied exposure across multiple low carbon energies where you will develop and assess the renewable business cases.
- Provide commercial and structuring support from greenfield through to partnering and M&A activities including negotiations
- Working with multiple disciplines including finance, economics, technical, strategy, pricing, risk and carbon footprint reduction
- Integration is a key strategic theme for TotalEnergies and in this role you will help identify, evaluate and deliver integrated opportunities across the multi-energies
- Develop offtake strategies for the various energies and initiate market dialogue and negotiations
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders both in Denmark and our headquarters in Paris
- Being part of an exciting, fast paced energy transition with the opportunity to be involved in multiple different energy activities
