The Nordic Asylum Law & Data Lab (part of the Center of Excellence for International Courts) is looking for a student, commencing 1 May 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter. The student will be a part of the interdisciplinary project, “Nordic Refugee Determination: Advancing Data Science in International Migration Law (NordASIL),” funded by a NordForsk Synergy grant. In addition, the student will provide direct research support to the project PI, Professor WSR Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen. We are looking for a student with an interest in refugee/migration law and with a flair for facilitating cooperation and social media communication.

The job is on average 10-12 hours a week.
Appointment and salary will be according to the current agreement between the Ministry of Finance and HK, and is positioned as a student-HK.
The minimum wage is DKK 126.16 (February 1, 2021-level). Your salary will be based on seniority.
In order to be considered for the position, you must be enrolled as a student at university level.
Start date: 1 May 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Qualifications
- Interest in refugee/migration law and/or empirical methods in law
- Ability to facilitate, organize, and work cooperatively within a team
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Aptitude for attention to detail and capacity to work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
- Flexibility in the approach to tasks
- A strong CV and prior work experience
- Good ability to communicate in English and Danish
