About ICARS
The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) is a new organization with a mission to develop evidence-based solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in low- and middle-income countries. Working in partnership with low- and middle-income countries, ICARS use intervention and implementation research to support the countries in implementing their National Action Plans. ICARS is a self-governing organization obliged to follow many of the rules and regulations for the Danish Public Sector.

About the position
As our student assistant, you will help us solve administrative, practical and academic assignments. Your assignments will vary from week to week. You will solve administrative and practical assignments such as:

You will mainly assist the Scientific Director Robert Skov.
Your background and experience
In order to become our new student assistant, you must be enrolled at a university as an active student within areas like Veterinary Medicine, Medicine or Public Health or similar, preferably having finished your bachelor. We will consider it an advantage if you have an interest in and some experience working with antimicrobial resistance from a One Health point of view.
To succeed in this position you must have strong IT skill, be structured, independent, good at cooperating interdisciplinary and service-minded.
Since English is our working language, it is important that you have proficiency in English both verbally and in writing.

As our student assistant, you will gain a unique insight in an organization handling intervention and implementation research on a global level. You will be part of a currently small but growing team that is developing the scientific and organizational foundation of ICARS. Our team is composed of enthusiastic international pioneers that believe in ICARS’ mission and is highly motivated to ensure its success.
We are currently based at Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Terms of employment
The position is covered by the terms of the collective agreement between The Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Organisation of Public Employees (OAO-S-Fællesoverenskomsten) and the organizational agreement between The Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Organisation for Salaried Employees HK/Stat (Organisationsaftale for kontorfunktionærer, laboranter og it-medarbejdere (HK)), according to chapter 6 in the agreement concerning hourly paid employees.
This is a part-time position of approximately 15 hours per week. The hours are flexible and exam periods can be taken into consideration.
The position is available from July 1st 2022.

About the position
As our student assistant, you will help us solve administrative, practical and academic assignments. Your assignments will vary from week to week. You will solve administrative and practical assignments such as:
- Support developing different Power Point presentations
- Support ICARS Advisors in the project management system Clickup
- Support with archiving
- Organising meetings and travels
- Responsibility for ICARS' email account for external inquiries
- Coordinate with the SSI service desk
- Support with development and maintenance of intranet
- Support setting up workstations for new staff and assist staff in overcoming technical challenges
- Different ad hoc tasks.
In regards to the more academic tasks, you will be assisting in:
- Performing relevant scientific literature search
- Making graphs and figures
- Reviewing scientific literature
- Assist staff with making refences in EndNote and Mendeley.
You will mainly assist the Scientific Director Robert Skov.
