To succeed in this role you must have knowledge about- and interest in corrosion protection for onshore and/or offshore structures and/or material science and durability of construction materials.</p><p>Are you our new colleague? Click the "apply"-button to send your application</p><p><strong>You will join our Asset Management of Bridges and Tunnels department</strong></p><p>As our new Corrosion Engineer you will be part of a department of more than 20 highly dedicated employees in our Copenhagen office. We work as a global Ramboll corrosion competence center closely together with a large variety of other departments across both organizational and geographical boundaries in Ramboll.</p><p>The department is part of Ramboll’s Transport division in Denmark. Ramboll has been intensively involved in corrosion protection projects from design to on-site measurements and operation and maintenance in many industries – such as the offshore wind energy sector (foundations), oil & gas (offshore structures and pipelines), infrastructure (bridges, tunnels and port structures), and buildings (swimming baths, parking facilities). Therefore, we have the insight and knowhow to assist in almost every aspect within corrosion. We are seeking a skilled engineer, probably with a background within Civil/structural, Mechanical or Electrochemical Engineering, to strengthen our corrosion competence center and our department in general.</p><p>Based on your skills and interests, the job could include everything from developing corrosion protection strategies, design of cathodic protection on both new and existing structures, with strong focus on design, drafting of coating specifications, corrosion monitoring and also inspecting and field tests of corrosion problems of existing structures. We assist all Rambolls markets, so you will work with a variety of exciting structure and corrosion related projects.</p><p>You will explore the exciting processes in Danish and international projects across all stages from planning through to construction and be working with highly skilled engineers from Ramboll’s offices all over the world, who are at the forefront of innovative design techniques and sustainable solutions.</p><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>A Master/Bachelor’s Degree within engineering or similar</li><li>Experience within some or all of the following subjects will be expected: Field inspections, coatings, analysis of corrosion related problems, stray current analysis, monitoring of CP systems, design and supervision of CP systems.</li><li>Experience within material science and deterioration mechanisms will be an advantage.</li><li>Fluency in English, spoken as well as written since many of your possible future colleagues and clients only speak English.</li></ul><p>On a more personal note, you are careful, with focus on details and you understand the importance of correct and timely delivery. You have strong communication skills and like working in teams and talking to clients. Understanding the importance of working with a common goal and deadline is important. Lastly you want to develop your skills within engineering and are looking for a permanent position with future career progression.
