Join our team! We are currently seeking an ambitious People & culture Student Assistant focused on Operations & Recruitment.

This role requires a deep understanding of our business, with a commitment to driving Liewood’s growth through employee performance, recruitment, retention, and development. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our employer branding and nurturing our People & Culture network.

As part of our fast-growing global brand, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team driven by ambition, a passion for design, and robust business acumen. Your responsibilities will encompass project management while aligning your efforts with our HR strategy, ensuring targeted and integrated outcomes.

This position offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, operating independently without direct management responsibilities. You will play a key role in establishing cohesive direction and clear frameworks for your areas of responsibility, serving as a role model for our employees.

A successful candidate will bring a business-oriented mindset, coupled with a strong commercial acumen. You'll recognize opportunities to support our employees in achieving their full potential, striking a balance between business needs and fostering a culture of professionalism.

The position is based at our Copenhagen headquarters, you'll report directly to the Head of People & Culture.

Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operations:

  • Assist in the development and communication of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assisst processes related to performance management (MUS), onboarding/offboarding, compensation and benefits, labor regulations, and the creation of detailed reports from HR master data.
  • Assist in processes such as organizational reviews, engagement programs, salary reviews, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Participate in the proactive development of a culture rooted in Liewood values.
  • Drive strategic HR projects aimed at strengthening our efforts and continuously improving the value HR adds to the business.
  • Knowledge of HRIS is a plus! (Talent Manager, Talmundo)

Recruitment Responsibilities


Recruitment:

  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks).
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes, references, and contact details.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that accurately reflect each position’s requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in a similar HR role, preferably in energy, branded consumer products, or similar industries.
  • Education: Currently pursuing relevant HR studies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong human values with the ability to build trust and credibility.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and strategic abilities, with experience in change and adjustment processes.
  • Work Ethic: Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
